The two heavyweight legends met twice during their prime during the 1990s, with their second bout going down in infamy.
After stopping Tyson to win the WBA heavyweight crown in their first meeting in 1996, Holyfield then had part of his ear bitten off by ‘Iron Mike’ in the rematch seven months later.

To this day, it remains one of the biggest controversies in boxing, perhaps only matched by ‘The Phantom Punch’.
However, some 24 years after their last fight, Holyfield has revealed the pair could finally be set to resume their rivalry.
Having watched Tyson make a return to the ring at the age of 54 against Roy Jones Jr, ‘The Real Deal’ wants to make a comeback himself.
“I would say yes,” he said on the Last Stand Podcast with Brian Custer. when asked about fighting Tyson again.
“I think that it’s close, I think that it’s something that we both want to do.
“I think that it can happen.”
The 58-year-old last fought in 2011 when he stopped Brian Nielsen in the tenth round of their heavyweight bout in Copenhagen.
Having suffered financial difficulties after his fighting career like Tyson, to see Holyfield enter the ring in an exhibition bout would offend very few fans as long as it was controlled as was the bout between ‘Iron Mike’ and Jones Jr in November.
After all, it was the former cruiserweight champion who heaped praise on Tyson for his deadly punch power and incredible resilience after their epic battles more than decades ago.
Holyfield told Ring Magazine: “He was a good fighter, a very talented fighter and he had some skills that other people didn’t have.
“I was a good boxer and he was a good puncher, and he was very technical with a lot of things.
“I hit him with some good shots at the end. He never did go down and I hit him with a lot of shots that had put a lot of people down.
